On April 26th, pop punk group Telltale and indie punk group Sundressed will begin a tour across the U.S. This first date is at the Masquerade in Atlanta, Georgia, and the tour will end on May 18 at Come and Take It Live in Austin, TX. The tour also features dates in Richmond, Chicago, Anaheim, Phoenix, and more. Tickets are on sale now!
These Rude Records label members are gearing up for something great. It will be Telltale’s first U.S. tour since 2019, and Trevor Hedges, Sundressed’s vocalist, has noted that they will be sharing new music.
Telltale
Telltale has a sound that’s two parts, reminiscent and new. This band consists of vocalist John Carteret, guitarist Bryce Marshall, bassist Tim Fogg, and drummer Travis Slack. They charge passion into their performances and have supported artists such as Young Culture, Real Friends, and As it Is. This band explores both the more energetic and laid-back sounds pop-punk has to offer, and they do it all with catchy choruses and lyrics that delve into an emotional space.
Sundressed
Sundressed is made up of vocalist Trevor Hedges, guitarist/backing vocalist Aj Peacox, Guitarist Matt Graham, bassist John Portillo, and drummer Vic Chan. Hedges initially started Sundressed as part of a journey to hold onto sobriety, and they’ve come a long way since then. Sundressed has uplifting harmonies and an exciting sound that’s contrasted by personal lyrics delving into mental health. Their music comes from a personal place, but it has a relatable sense in which comfort can be found.
Spring Tour
Telltale and Sundressed’s upcoming tour was originally announced with 17 dates, but there’s more. Sundressed made a Facebook post on March 12 announcing that there were two more dates added. These dates are April 27 in Raleigh, North Carolina, and May 5 in La Crosse, Wi. Additionally, the venue they will be playing in Tulsa was changed to Mass Movement. There will also be some other bands on this tour across different spans of time. FRND CRCL will join the tour from April 26th through the 29th. Brooklane will be part of the lineup from May 1 to the 6th. And Diva Bleach will join along from May 7 through the 18th.
