Ginesse and Her New Single, “Gatorade”

Los Angeles based indie-pop artist, Ginesse has just released her latest single, ‘Gatorade’ which is the first release she’s had since her breakout EP “Somewhere To Die.” Ginesse pushes the boundaries of indie-pop, incorporating electronic beats into her music, creating more dynamic sounds to accompany her dream-like vocals. “Gatorade” got its name as a play off of the popular Mercury Retrograde, and the meaning behind it. Ginesse states :

For some reason, mercury going into retrograde has always put me in a very nostalgic place,” she says. “It’s a love letter to those I shared time with where the doors have remained open without resolution and without a clear understanding of why.

“Gatorade” showcases her vocals, which creating a unique beat, and the two placed together will grab your attention from the first verse. The release of this coincides perfectly with the start of summer, and can easily become an anthem you listen to with your friends while enjoying the beautiful weather.
