Kat Saul, originally from Nashville but not resides in LA, dropped a new single and video “Alright”, and will be featured on her Sophomore EP, set to drop later this year. This alt pop anthem holds an uplifting theme – encouraging taking the risk on love, without worrying about the potential for heartbreak.

“…And there comes a point where you have to decide whether to break down those walls or to let people inside them. It can be incredibly challenging, especially romantically… but when has easy ever been rewarding, you know? Love, risk and growth are what make life beautiful and worth living.”

The video, has Kat in a room with reflective silver walls, that have this 90s music video vibes. It has her singing while there’s some animations over laying throughout, which adds to this nostalgia that many long for at this time, making it a great visual display. The song itself flows well, the lyrics, beats and vocals all compliment each other. The feeling of letting go and taking a risk is prominent and will be able to relate to everyone, and might even encourage people to take one. After the first play through, the chorus already is stuck in my head in the best way possible, and any fan of pop/alt pop, will love this. You can stream here.
