In 2018/2019 French Pop/Rock band Reaven went on a European tour that included 10 Different countries and more than 50 concerts. These road warriors already have a new album in the works, “For Tomorrow”. I was able to have another “Quarantine Q&A” with Reaven’s lead singer-guitarist, Romeo. Below is the Video for their most recent single, “Escape”.
MR: Introduce yourself in 6 words or less.
Romeo: We are Reaven, a French Pop/Rock band with a touch of Electro.
MR: During the Covid-19 Quarantine, a lot of people spent time doing things they normally wouldn’t have done…did you pick up any new hobbies or learn any new skills?
Romeo: “Patience? (laughs). More seriously, yes. We created our 1st music video (homemade) from the writing of the scenario to the direction and recording. We, of course, already had music videos, but we were never the
ones who filmed it. So, it was a great experience.”
MR: What do you miss the most about touring?
Romeo: “The connection with people. The travels. The fact of meeting new people almost each day and sharing our music with an audience…”
MR: Do you have any Post-Quarantine plans?
Romeo: “To reschedule our tours. Release our new album “For Tomorrow”. And also we will create with Vince (drummer of the band) our own Music Production company. This is a new challenge.”
MR: Whats one personal item you absolutely can not tour without?
Romeo: “My notebook. I always have it on tour if ever inspiration is coming. So I don’t forget things and I can write my ideas.”
MR: What are the Top 3 artists you are inspired by?
Romeo: “The Beatles, Kings of Leon, Jimi Hendrix.”
MR: Any words of wisdom for someone who may draw their inspiration from you?
Romeo: “Keep your mind open as much as you can. And experience every little thing fully. Try to find surprises that life has for you.”
