Preview: Detroit’s Mo Pop Festival

Detroit’s two-day music festival, Mo Pop, is set to be held at the Historic Fort Wayne Park this year. The 2020 festival will take place on July 25 and July 26, bringing in headliners including: Khalid, The 1975, Doja Cat, Kaytranada, Purity Ring, and many more. The festival will be celebrating its 8th year of pairing indie-rock, pop, and hip hop music combined with local Detroit cuisine, crafts, and pop-up flea markets.  This is the first year that the festival will be held at Fort Wayne Park. The festival’s director, Jason Rogalewski says “It’s another one of those hidden gems in the city that’s uniquely Detroit and we can’t wait to share it with our fans in July.” Along with a new location, VIP “Yacht Club” passes will be available, which includes priority entry lane access, main stage preferred viewing, Yacht Club lounge access, private air-conditioned restrooms, private cash bars, and more. 

Ticket pre-sales started on March 13th. Single-day GA passes start at $79.95. General Admission pricing will increase as phases become unavailable. There is no difference in phases except for pricing.

Additional Information from Mo Pop: “In the event the festival is cancelled in its entirety, passes will be refunded. If the festival is postponed, patrons will have a choice of a refund or using their pass for the future date.”
