The Canada Life Centre was alive on August 10th as Cage The Elephant, Young The Giant, and Vlad Holiday took the stage for an unforgettable night on a Saturday summer night.

Vlad Holiday opened the evening with a very intimate set. His vocals and guitar work set a bit of mood. By the time he finished, it was clear that he had made a lasting impression for the kicked off for the night.

Young The Giant came up next, delivering a performance that was both dynamic and deeply engaging and you heard fans singing and jumping right off the first song. Their setlist had a great blend of favourites and new ones, showcasing their signature blend of alt rock and indie rock. Sameer Gadhia’s stage presence was all for it from the start of the set to the end.

Cage The Elephant closed the night with a such a high performance that even with a broken foot from Matt Shultz he was still able to go wild. The band did not disappoint with a huge production from flames to lasers in the 2nd half of the night, it was great performance from classics like “Ain’t No Rest for the wicked”, “Trouble” and to even new ones like “Rainbow” everyone knew the words.

Overall, it was a night that we wish that it couldn’t end from every single performance. Fan’s will be eager to see each act come back again hopefully sooner rather than later than this long of a wait.
