Another Day Dawns, a local band from Lehighton, Pennsylvania, joined Breaking Benjamin and Bush as an opening act on their most recent tour. On Thursday May 18th, 2023, Another Day Dawns welcomed family and friends to the homecoming show at Mohegan Sun Arena, Wilkes Barre, PA.

Excitement was heard throughout the city welcoming home not only Another Day Dawns, but also local band Breaking Benjamin.

Another Day Dawns is a new and up-and-coming rock band who recently signed with Century Media Records. Formed in 2010, the band features lead singer Dakota Sean, guitarist Tyler Ritter, bassist Jerome Betz, and drummer Nick McGeehan. Their sound is a modern heavy alternative.

The band is already making noise in the rock community. They hit number 10 on the billboards Northeast Heatseekers chart and have performed across the country including in major festivals such as Blue Ridge Rock Festival and Aftershock.

There is a reason why Bush has sold close to 20 million records in the U.S. and Canada alone. Thursday night’s set in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania proved that.

The moment the lights turned red and the drummer took the stage, you could feel the atmosphere of high energy. That energy got more intense as leading front man, Gavin Rossdale, took the stage. The show was a continuous nostalgic experience of smooth vocals, energetic harmony, and powerful guitar riffs.

Fans of all ages joined in singing with Rossdale during the entire set. Of course, during the iconic song Glycerine, fans lit the arena up bright with their cell phones. Not a sound was heard but for Rossdale’s iconic voice and guitar. Everybody wanted to take it all in, with some wanting to relive their 90’s days of youth.

Bush recently dropped The art of Survival album last October, featuring songs “All things must change” and “Heavy is the ocean”. The album itself is lyrically in depth, and touches one’s soul. This is a follow up to their 2020 album, “The Kingdom”.

Bush continues to tour now through September at select places.
