Alice In Chains & Breaking Benjamin @ Freedom Mortgage Pavilion, Camden, NJ

Alice in Chains co-headlines a tour with Breaking Benjamin on a 31 date United States tour starting in Burgettstown, PA and the next day being in Camden, NJ. They bring along Bush for the full tour and The L.I.F.E. Project for a third, ThunderPussy for another third and Plush for the last third. We caught the L.I.F.E. Project rocking out in Camden on August 11th at The Freedom Mortgage Pavilion along with the rest of the lineup.

The L.I.F.E. Project has a female vocalist which I always love to see and she did not disappoint. She engaged with all the members as she performed and really engaged with the audience. They were such a great set. I would definitely like to see them again. Bush played their set next and the crowd screamed to songs like Glycerine and others. They had a cool setup with big white amps all over the stage and amazing lighting effects.

Breaking Benjamin rocked the show and of course had fire during their show which always came at the most perfect times which really made the show. Benjamin Burnley mentioned that his first concert ever was Alice In Chains and he is so honored to now be co-headlining with them.  Breaking Benjamin played a perfect set with all the songs everyone wanted to hear like Diary of Jane.

Alice In Chains played with angst and passion even twenty years later. The audience yelled the lyrics to every song. But especially to Man In The Box, a very well known song of theirs. Alice In Chains ended their set with Would? and Rooster and kept the audience there to enjoy the whole concert. This was the perfect show for everyone, not just Gen X or Millennials but everyone. There were families and older folks who all enjoyed the show to its entirety.
