BBNO$ took the stage on a Wednesday night with Ceo@business.net, Jungle Bobby, and local Winnipeg act Flamenco Sketch. He played at Exchange Event Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba on the sixth night of his tour. Winnipeg is becoming a hub of emerging Rap/Hip-Hop artists. The Event Centre was packed from the beginning of the night. A few old middle school friends even came out to the show.
Flamenco Sketch was smiling ear to ear when I saw him perform. Being in his hometown, a sold-out show meant the world to him. The crowd was fully engaged and he even brought up a few of his crew to perform with him. It was a solid set and I’m excited to see him next time.
Ceo@business.net & Jungle Bobby, in a way, performed their sets together. The crowd was starting to get more excited, the energy was raising– as well as the temperature. Winnipeg gave love from start to finish. I hope to see them come back soon.
BBNO$ finally hit the stage and played hits as well as new releases, the crowd enjoyed every song. Despite news of complications with the air conditioning, the crowd did not waiver from dancing like crazy. I had a blast taking photos while BB sang “Lalala”, “mathematics”, “help herself” and a new song “piccolo”. BBNO$ performed a fantastic show and I really enjoyed it. He brought a ton of energy that was felt throughout the venue. Hopefully he comes back sooner rather than later and I’m excited to see more Rap/Hip-Hop shows come into the city.
