Heavy Rock band Søndag, hailing from Piacenza, Italy, has released their new single ‘Titans’. The four members of Søndag are Marcello Lega (Guitars & Backing Vocals), Riccardo Demarosi (Bass Guitar & Vocals), Riccardo Lovotti (Drums), and Marco Benedetti (Guitars). ‘Titans’ is the second of two singles that the band released this year, the first being ‘Trendsetter’. This single, ‘Titans’ was entirely written and produced by the band in Riccardo Demarosi’s studio, who mixed the track and mastered it. For fans of Royal Blood, Alice in Chains, and A Perfect Circle!

Q: Introduce yourself in 6 words or less.
A: We are Søndag, low-tuned rock!
Q: During the Covid-19 Quarantine, a lot of people spent time doing things they normally wouldn’t have done…did you pick up any new hobbies or learn any new skills?
A: Not really, I’ve worked as usual (but in my home this time) so I didn’t have all that spare time to use for new hobbies and stuff.
Q: What do you miss the most about touring?
A: Every single thing: the magic moments on the road with the boys, the sound checks, the beers, meeting new friends every day.. don’t let me think about that mate ☹
Q: Do you have any Post-Quarantine plans?
A: Well, technically we are out of the quarantine since the beginning of summer here in Italy, but things never got back to normality, we are still full of restrictions due to Covid. It’s hard to see through all these messy times, since things always can go wrong anytime. Once it will be all just a bad memory (hopefully soon) we’d love to come back touring, literally
anywhere!
Q: Whats one personal item you absolutely can not tour without?
A: It could sound really silly but my two “must-have” while touring are earplugs and… beers!
Q: What are the Top 3 artists you are inspired by?
A: Without hesitation, I’d say: Nind Inch Nails, Bring Me The Horizon and Deftones!
Q: Any words of wisdom for someone who may draw their inspiration from you?
A: Do your best not to follow trends and only play the music you really like, it will pay off in the long run!
