Quarantine Q&A Vol.1 #11: Chasing Apparitions

After taking a brief hiatus, Chasing Apparitions is back with a new line-up.
Featuring Josey Stines & Jacob Ortengren on instrumentals with Justin Stubbs on vocals.

MR: Introduce yourself in 6 words or less.
Josey: Hello, we are Chasing Apparitions.

MR: During the Covid-19 Quarantine, a lot of people spent time doing things they normally wouldn’t have done…did you pick up any new hobbies or learn any new skills?
Josey: We finalized a lot of things for “Am I Worth Saving?” & I got really good at Apex Legends on PS4.

MR: What do you miss the most about touring?
Josey: I miss seeing the kids get all hyper & sweaty & everyone just laughing & smiling & having a good time. I miss the social interaction. I mean you can play online shows now, but it will never match the adrenaline rush you get from seeing kids scream your own songs back at you.

MR: Do you have any Post-Quarantine plans?
Josey: I really want to go on vacation somewhere & I just want to attend a live show. I don’t care who’s playing, I just want to hear live music.

MR: Whats one personal item you absolutely can not tour without?
Josey: First-aid kit. You never know when you’ll need one & I never get in the van without one.

MR: What are the Top 3 artists you are inspired by?
Josey: Currently, Thousand Below, Bad Omens, & Northlane

MR: Any words of wisdom for someone who may draw their inspiration from you?
Josey: If you’re serious about being in a band, don’t be cheap. Get everything done professionally because once it’s out there. It’s there for good & it’ll be there forever. You want to put your best foot forward right out the gate. Make a really good first impression.
