On March 4th Bad Omens made their much anticipated return to Philadelphia, Pa for their Killed and Born Again Tour. After their successful release of their sophomore album, Finding God Before God Finds Me, it was no surprise that many of the dates on this tour were selling out.
Bad Omens brought along the guys in Oh, Sleeper, Thousand Below and Bloodline making this a stacked line up each night. Philly’s date had a local opener, Across The White Water Tower, who brought a great amount of stage presence to kick off the night. Officially opening the night was Bloodline, a band from Texas that brings a powerful energy you just can’t ignore. It’s not often that you see a band whose drummer is also does part of the vocals. Thousand Below and Oh, Sleeper kept the crowd moving and the energy alive.
As the stage was being set up for Bad Omens, the crowd began to pack in closer, with much anticipation for seeing what they were about to experience. Immediately after Bad Omens set started, the fans cheered with massive enthusiasm. Playing songs from both albums, with favorites Exit Wounds, Mercy, and the fan favorite from FGBGFM, Dethrone. After this show it’s easy to say that Philadelphia will always welcome Bad Omens back to play whenever they want. They will be on tour in the US until March 28th.
