On December 4th, 2024, The Burton Cummings Theatre in Winnipeg hosted an electrifying night of Canadian music with Marianas Trench and LOLO.
LOLO opened the show with such fun energy right off the bat, captivating the crowd with songs like “DON’T!”, “Debbie downer” and “omg.” Her stage presence and her performance made her a standout opening act and hopefully make a return soon.
Marianas Trench followed with their trademark theatricality and electric performance. Opening with “A Normal Life,” they balanced old favorites like “Fallout” with new tracks, showcasing harmonies and high energy. Vibrant lighting and sing-alongs throughout the night were hearing the Burton Cummings theatre sound go from top to bottom from hearing hits like “All To Myself”, and “Haven’t Had Enough” throughout the night.
It was a night of stellar performances and unforgettable moments, cementing Marianas Trench’s reputation and highlighting LOLO as an upcoming pop punk/alt-rock artist.
