Volbeat and Halestorm came out to Canada Life Centre on their Summer tour on July 17th. The concert was an exciting experience from Halestorm to Volbeat.
Halestorm started the night off hard with 3 banger classic songs from their set list which were “I Miss the Misery”, “Love Bites (So Do I)” and “I Get Off”. With those songs starting the set off you had the biggest idea of what Lzzy Hale was going to bring that night. I kind of wished they did bring back “I Am the Fire” but maybe they will make another return in Winnipeg soon.At 8:30 pm Volbeat took the stage.
They started off with tremendous energy, captivating the crowd with their signature sound you hear from Volbeat. They played new hits to older hits including songs like “Still Counting”, “Black Rose” and “Die to Live”. They transitioned from one song to another as smoothly as possible, keeping the energy high throughout the night. It’s been over 5 years since Volbeat came to Canada Life Centre since their last tour with Godsmack. Happy to see them make a return here in Winnipeg with Halestorm.
