New year, new music! Morning Eagle recently released ‘Slide’, a four track EP to kick off 2021. Nick May as brought his music from Philadelphia to the West Coast, where he recorded most songs in his Long Beach apartment. The four tracks on the EP have this consistent grunge-like tone, reminiscent of the 90s grunge rock era. The melancholy chords from the guitar mixed with the raspy vocals will make anyone who is a fan of that era of music enjoy “Slide” as an EP. I do wish there was a few more tracks that were included to showcase what Morning Eagle has to offer, but everyone (including myself) will have to wait and see what is in store for more releases throughout 2021.
