MR: Introduce yourself in 6 words or less.

LA: Nat Jack The Astral Pirate

MR: During the Covid-19 Quarantine, a lot of people spent time doing things they normally wouldn’t have done…did you pick up any new hobbies or learn any new skills?

LA: I started getting more into film making, editing and really getting more hands on with the camera. I always directed and produced but holding the camera has it’s own potency. Vegan cooking has become a daily thing as well, hit me up for some dope vegan cheese recipes.

MR: What do you miss the most about touring?

LA: Hands down the people, the connection. I realize now more then ever that after you put on a show for someone, and they connect with your music it’s impossible to recreate that effect from just meeting people in the street. My fans are my family and every new fan I meet feels like a long lot relative I am finally getting a chance to know.

MR: Do you have any Post-Quarantine plans?

LA: We had to cancel some tours in Europe and Asia so I really hope to get the ball rolling out there and start playing live again. As a personal venture I want to get back to the jungles of Peru and start bringing more folks out to meet the ayahuasceros (medicine doctors) for ceremony.

MR: Whats one personal item you absolutely can not tour without?

LA: I don’t really have something like that going on, I don’t need much. I would love to say clean underwear but we all know life just ain’t that perfect.

MR: What are the Top 3 artists you are inspired by?

LA: 2pac, James Ronnie Dio & Michael Jackson

MR: Any words of wisdom for someone who may draw their inspiration from you?

LA: For every person who see your light there will be many more who misunderstand you, finding your individuality is a hard and long journey but breaking it out is also the most pleasure you will ever find. Be true to yourself and even those who misjudged you will come around and the ones that don’t, well your life will be to dope to notice em. All the great changers in the world were not understood by the masses until what they brought became mass produced, don’t buy into the masses, they are literally just thought sponges just listen to your heart.
